Centre for Development of Advance Computing (C- DAC) is a scientific society of Ministry of Information Technology, Govt. of India. Our initiative started in January 1996 under the brand name of Program for Advancing Computer Education (PACE). This program offers each and every person an opportunity to make the most of computing technology without having much technical background. This has been one of the first deployments, which has met with extraordinary success across all sections of India.

C-DAC GIST has been the pioneer in developing and proliferating the use of Indian languages on computers.Today we have a national presence with around 260 training centers throughout the country.C-DAC has a network of 80 ATCs in Gujarat state. Most of our centers are in rural environments has been instrumental in providing Multilingual IT training to students in such regions.We design client specific modules that help the clients to upgrade the skills of their employees in the desired areas.

Under the PACE, training centers are called C-DAC GIST-PACE Authorised Training Centres. A part from the medium of teaching, this program gives the students and opportunity to make the most of IT without having a technical background. The courses are so structured that those desirous of pursuing a career in the software industry, can do so by enrolling for the advanced courses offered by the ACTS (Advanced Computing Training School) of C-DAC.

Certificates will be issued by C-DAC within three months from the date of examination. Student have to collect their certificate from Institute after three months from the date of examination.
